About the Body lab

At The Body Lab, you're never locked into just one way of moving. Our Pilates classes focus on precision, control, and building a strong Pilates foundation through mindful movement. Xformer Strength classes dial up the intensity with muscle-shaking resistance that transforms your strength and endurance. Both are low-impact. Both protect your joints. And both complement each other beautifully giving you the freedom to design a practice that fits your mood, your goals, and your life. This is fitness without limits.

Founded by Sydney Sifers in 2020, The Body Lab emerged from a passion for the precision and power of Pilates. We saw an opportunity to bring this dynamic practice to our community in a way that felt accessible, supportive, and results-driven. Our studio was designed to be more than just a place to work out. It's a community where you can reconnect with your body, challenge your limits, and discover what you're truly capable of. We combine the classical foundations of Pilates with contemporary techniques, creating workouts that strengthen, lengthen, and restore your body from the inside out.

Our philosophy pairs the precision and mind-body connection of Pilates with the demanding intensity of Xformer training.

Our method is designed to increase strength and flexibility, build lean muscle and keep the body mobile. Each session is unique, complete with heart pumping music, a high energy atmosphere and detailed instruction. With a focus on power, precision and control, you will work every element of your physical and mental strength. We focus on strengthening all major muscle groups in addition to those smaller muscles that have a big impact on how your body tones and gains definition. You will leave feeling longer, leaner and more balanced.
