End your workout with a walk at Williston’s Mud Pond Country Park
The best exercise to pair with Pilates? Walking. Channel your post-workout energy into a nearby nature walk. Pilates combined with walking is like peanut butter and jelly. They match perfectly and give you a well-rounded workout, helping you improve posture, flexibility, and stamina.
Williston is home to several beautiful nature trails and hikes for you to enjoy. Mud Pond Country Park is a peaceful, mostly-level walking path that is not generally crowded. There is accessible parking at the Mud Pond Conservation Area. If you’re looking for more of a moderate hike, try out Sucker Brook Hollow Trail, a walking trail with a bit more elevation. Find this trail at the Five Tree Hill Country Park.
Grab a bite at Healthy Living
Once you finish your walk, you will likely start to feel your stomach rumbling. Swing by Healthy Living to refuel! Healthy Living has some of the best options for a post-workout lunch. You can get made-to-order sandwiches and smoothies or select one of their premade options. Our favorites are the chicken caesar wrap, cobb salad, and vegetarian hummus and vegetable wrap.
Not feeling any of these options? Healthy Living is also a great place to pick up your groceries. Pick out some ingredients that speak to you and make yourself a delicious at-home lunch. We love making smoothies and grain bowls to refuel our bodies post-workout.
Spend some time in the Williston community at Catamount Outdoor Family Center
Feeling energized after your lunch stop? The Catamount Outdoor Family Center is a great place to spend some time in the Williston community. Open year round, you can spend each season doing something different here. In the summer, enjoy mountain biking and trail running. In the winter, bundle up hit the trails for fat biking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

In the fall, you’ll find a great seasonal corn maze and pumpkin patch, perfect for getting yourself into the seasonal spirit! When it gets closer to the holiday season, Isham Family Farm also has Christmas trees! Overall, this local farm is a great place to visit during any season.
